The work is aimed at scientific and textual study of Azerbaijani-language creative legacy by the poets of South Dagestan (XVIIth-XVIIIth centuries). The publication offers conclusions concerning the specificity of development of Azerbaijani poetry of the South Dagestan in the light of the classical Oriental literature as well as data on the poets' lives and creativeness and their works with word-for-word translation into Russian.
