The atlas is dedicated to the Caspian seal's habitats on land. The materials presented show how changeable the conditions and habitats of the species are, the maps and photographs provided clearly demonstrate this. Much of what is reflected in the photographs is already irrevocable in the past. This is due to both natural and anthropogenic factors. The atlas deliberately does not include documented facts of anthropogenic impact on the Caspian seal population. Therefore, we hope that the photographs provided will evoke only positive emotions and will demonstrate how the Caspian seal should live in its natural habitat.
