This monograph analyzes the first quarantine period introduced in Lithuania due to the control of the rapidly spreading SARS-CoV-2 / COVID-19 coronavirus, which lasted from March 16, 2020 to June 16, 2020. The team of researchers from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Klaipeda University conducted a detailed research that allowed to assess the impact of the restrictions on socioeconomic activities imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic on small and medium-sized enterprises of the Klaipeda region, the extent of the tensions experienced and the effectiveness of state interventions aimed at reducing the effects of the restrictions.
