This original scientific research work investigates spiritual and moral characteristics of customs and traditions of old Azerbaijan. The results of this experiment with their negative and positive consequences are reflected in the book. The author differentiates between various kinds of traditions distinguishing unique, unconventional and eternal, and those, which rapidly spring up as a result of some changes in political, social and economic life of the people and suddenly disappear leaving no trace of their existence.
