The author in the book examines categories of crime related to artworks: robberies and artifacts of artillery in wartime, theft of works of art from museums and private collections, theft of liturgical items, archaeological looting and antiquity smuggling, vandalism or deliberate destruction of works, falsification of works, state requirements in protection of art objects. The book also deals with the structure, state and movement of crimes related to artworks in the Republic of Serbia in the period from 2000 to 2014, which can serve as a basis for further research.
