The author of the monograph investigates some key problems of the influence, which the Arab states conducted on the situation of Islam in Russia in 1990's. He tries to investigate different sides of contradictory character of the Arab-Muslims' participation in the process of the Islamic revival in Russia. The researcher pays much attention to the consequences which were caused by the desire of the Arab nations to play an active role in the spiritual, ideological and political life of Russian Muslims' community and to enlarge opportunities for creating contacts and cooperation with post-Soviet Russia.
