'Lits'viny' is one of the names for the ancient Belarusians. Basing on very rare sources, the author of this book traces the language, beliefs and worships of the ancient Lits'vins, the origin of such a name and the ethnic affiliation. Thus he proves the Slavonic origin of the tribe that gave birth to the Great Duchy of Lithuania. The book also contains the explanation of some pagan names peculiar to Indo-European peoples.
