This book provides a detailed description of more than 350 unique works of monumental and decorative sculpture, mosaic and majolica pictures, which decorate squares, streets, palaces and temples’ facades in Saint-Petersburg. Particular attention is given to the plastic collection of Summer Garden, to the sculpture of ensembles of the Admiralty, the Palace Square, Pointers of Vasilievsky Island, and the outward decoration of Saint Isaac’s, Kazan’ and other Cathedrals. The book contains about 300 original photos and extensive reference materials.
