The monograph is devoted to the main liturgic constructions of altars of ancient Russian temples of proto-Mongolian time (the end of the Xth - the first third of the XIIIth century): altar barriers, thrones, altar-crosses, angle-sets. The work scopes all lands of proto-Mongolian Rus’. The author undertook enormous work on collecting, systematizing and interpreting of the data received during archeological and restoration studies of over 50 architectural monuments.
