The book comprises a story of the citizens of the Moldavian settlement Largi who want very much to leave for Italy. Seraphim Botezaru, for example, has learned Italian language and can speak it quite well. Father Paisiy's wife, the priest's wife Elizaveta, quite the contrary, left for Italy already in 1999. First she worked as a housemaid, then she married a local swindler, Adriano. The author presents an interesting story with a happy end.
