The collection is dedicated to the life and scientific work of Alfred Khasanovich Khalikov (1929–1994), a world-famous archaeologist, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, and Honored Scientist of Tatarstan. The collection includes Khalikov’s works, little known to the modern reader, including those devoted to the ethnogenesis, history, and culture of the Tatar people, and archaeological sites discovered in Tatarstan and beyond. It also includes memoirs and articles about him, a bibliographic index, and photographs.
