A. Stulginskis (1885-1969) was one of the active founders of the Lithuanian independence, member of the Lithuanian Seym and the first constitutionally elected President of the Lithuanian state. He faced the World War I, Nazi occupation, exile in the Siberian concentration camps and imprisonment during the period of 1941-1954.
