Akhmedkhan Abu-Bakar (real name Akhmedkhan Abakarovich Abakarov) (1931 - 1991) was a Dargin writer, publicist, screenwriter, the first Dargin professional playwright. People's Writer of the Dagestan ASSR. Member of the Writers' Union of the USSR. Laureate of the Republican prize named after Suleiman Stalsky.
