The monograph inquires into the theoretical and methodological issues of transformation and reformation of a Russian village and working-out of an appropriate agricultural policy of its development, and undertakes analysis of political processes in villages in the XXth century in interrelation with social, economic, town-planning, demographical and ecological events.
