The author does not write the study descriptively, but critically develops the thesis of genius as an artistic, not a scientific, concept. Also, the author does not remain within the boundaries of classical German idealism and literary romanticism, in which the concept of genius was most prevalent, but rather seeks to question the possibilities of understanding genius in contemporary philosophical, or aesthetic, discussions, interpretations and approaches.
