As an expert on the Turkish language, which in her previous work dealt with through scientific research, teaching and professional practice, Kerima Filan was excellently instructed to exhibit on Turkish language in Bosnia. The author approached the topic by considering the various forms of Turkish language use in the Bosnian Ottoman era. In the works of Bosnian authors from different centuries (Sugli, 17th, Baseskija, 18th, Ljubusak, 19th century), the author reads the layers of the Turkish language, from phonology (and graphic), through grammar to semantics and stylistics.
