The phenomenon of (non)parallelism is very widespread, diverse and important from a linguistic and didactic point of view. It is an illustrative manifestation of the non-correspondence and system gaps between the structures of multilingual codes, and of the non-parallelism within the category of the Czech species, which manifests itself in species homonymy and polysemy. The ambition of this study is to create a methodological background and prerequisites for the creation of such a description of our mother tongue that meets the study needs of its foreign language users and will help effectively overcome non-parallelism, especially on the lexical (semantic) and lexical-grammatical levels.
