The Dilogy "A Version of Judas Betrayal" represents an attempt to restore the method of allegorical interpretation of the Bible, based on the actually lost tradition of the Alexandrian School by such thinkers as Clement and Origen. However, the author E.Poliakov has managed to head for the further philosophical horizons in comparison to the Alexandrians. Basing on the commandments about the need to love God with the whole human mind, the author excludes the antipathy of the Truth as well as the statements inscrutable to the human mind.
