The handbook is the first author's attempt to systematize a large array of facts about the historical dynamics of the development of fine arts of the XX century. in a wide contact configuration of Ukraine and the world. The chronology is based on known and little-known information about significant cultural and artistic events: art exhibitions, founding of art organizations, the emergence of creative manifestos and important art and cultural works, dates of creation of works of art, milestones in the work of many artists and more.
