Among the series of works on the philosophical anthropology the given work represents an original research work on the problem of self-determination of a person. The problem is viewed in two sociocultural variants - solidarism and individualism. Much attention is paid to the revelation of ontological, social and historical factors of forming and dynamics of the present variants of self-determination.
