The monograph is devoted to topical problems of linguistic and cultural studies and the discourse theory. The research is based on theses about existence of certain permanent characteristics in the linguistic perception and communicative behavior of a person, social group and ethnos. A typology of linguistic personalities is provided in value, cognitive and behavioral aspects as well as the analysis of sociolinguistic and pragmalinguistic types of discourse as a text in a situation of real intercourse.
