Considering that now in Russian linguistics there are enormous differences in qualification of stable word combinations in distribution into groups, authors of the most authoritative "Dictionary of Russian language with the inclusion of information about the word origin" output a multitude of expressions, which in most dictionaries refers to the phraseological units, beyond the phraseology. The authors in this monograph justify the need for such reduction in the number of the Buryat phraseological units in which there is a tendency to recognize any stable word combination as a phraseological unit.
