The book is dedicated to Mirzhakyp Dulatovich, one of the most prominent representatives of the Kazakh intelligentsia, a member of the "Alash" party. In 2010 it was 125 years since the birth of the great Alash, and "Wake up, Kazakh!" 100 years since the publication of the book. It is known that this book has a special place in awakening the sleeping consciousness of the Kazakh people and raising the national spirit.
