The project works to create an alternative history of Ukrainian art, complemented by works that in the twentieth century were not considered "canonical" or "noteworthy" for ideological reasons, presenting a subjective view of individual works stored in museums and private collections in Ukraine. That is why the choice, description and interpretation will include not so much a "linear" view of how 65 masterpieces of sculpture, graphics and painting were created, but a wide field of European associations. Art critic and lecturer Diana Klochko will present her canon and explanation of why these works are so important to our contemporaries, why they are all not orphans in stylistic diversity, but witnesses of great (though not always well-known) intellectual stories.
