The book began with the intention of finding and publishing previously less known facts and images from 1991 - the decisive and fateful year. And for the compiler of the chronology and the witness of the events of that time, Artis Argli, this intention materialized in a wide panorama of historical facts. It became clear that some events and legends of 1991 needed clarification and debunking, which forced legendary photographers and image repositories to look with a fresh eye at the material and its relationship with time. In collaboration with more than 25 photographers and more than 15 repositories, the year 1991 is expressed in 70 fateful events in the book with carefully selected and little-known images. A broader chronology of events can be found at the end of the book.
